After 35 years of construction and development (1980-2015), from the bankrupt company, LASUCO with its LASUCO brand has become a large-scale industrial enterprise both in volume and quality. The biggest achievement is the implementation of the project "Researching, developing and producing sugarcane kinds with high economic efficiency for raw material areas" in 2015 with a total investment of over 60.5 billion VND. The objective of the project is to select, rapidly produce high quality sugarcane by culturing invitro tissue to provide seedlings for the province, the northern and northern regions. By 2017, LASUCO has achieved the impressive results. For example, the summer crop in 2017 has been planted in 380 hectares of seedling cane from disease-free tissue culturing. Thus, new seed sources are prepared for 2018-2019 crops in order to ensure the planting of over 3,000 hectares of sugar cane, accounting for 75% of the new area of the whole region. In the period of 2016-2017, the marketing continued to make great efforts which made a significant contribution to the company's business and production results, and deployed over 300 retail points around the world, including sugar products, molasses and bagasse, high - tech agricultural products, clean rice "For quality of life".
The new investment projects have been step by step improved the efficiency: in addition to the program of tissue culturing sugarcane seed, some products inclusive of yellow melon, tomato, orange oranges, organic rice, flowers, etc…. have been branded and supplied to many provinces and cities in the country, that have obtained the trust of consumers.
